About Connections

Connections is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency that provides, primarily, educational services to children with autism.

Connections is a Palm Beach County Charter school that is specifically designed for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related learning differences. Offering a complete school program, we help our students succeed in a positive and unique educational environment that understands and supports their neurological, physical, social and emotional needs. Our expertly-trained staff provides a multi-sensory, hands-on learning experience that gives students the opportunity to truly enjoy learning. Each of our students receive an individually planned education, customized to each student’s current developmental level and individual learning needs. Our curriculum is based on Florida State Standards and Florida Standards Access Points. Using small class sizes (5-11 students) and a blended teaching model, we also teach essential life skills, and social awareness and interaction. Most importantly, students at CECPB enjoy meaningful membership in our school community. Our students experience a safe, supportive learning environment where they feel physically and emotionally secure. Together, our students are engaged and motivated to learn and grow. Our integrated program is a journey that enables our students – who may have struggled in traditional environments – to become confident, independent, self-advocates who are well prepared for their next steps in life.

Mission Statement

Connections is a progressive educational community that is dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, personalized learning environment for students with autism spectrum disorder.

Our mission is to serve students with autism spectrum disorder and their families by providing high-quality education and therapeutic services through collaboration, communication, and integration of evidence-based best practices in a unique learning environment. Connections intends to prepare its students to be as independent, self-sufficient and socially interactive as possible.

Connections believes all children with Autism Spectrum Disorder can learn, become self-motivated life-long learners, function as responsible citizens, and actualize their potential as productive citizens in the local and global societies and in the 21st century workforce.
